How to Get Involved

ASU Sun Devils are involved in meaningful experiences – from student clubs and Greek organizations, to student employment and student government – Sun Devil students manage buildings, create student policies, plan student concerts and events, and lead community service initiatives, among other leadership pursuits. ASU students are leaders in and outside of the classroom, and the Memorial Union provides the platform and opportunities for student leaders to discover their talents, skills, and passions.

Memorial Union Advisory Board

The Memorial Union Advisory Board acts as the student voice for the ASU Memorial Union. MUAB serves the student population by planning and hosting events that showcase the MU. In addition to programming efforts, the MUAB conducts regular review of MU policies to make sure the MU is best serving the student population and its needs. Changemaker Central

Changemaker Central serves as a key gathering space for ASU’s social innovators. It serves to empower students to apply their education, expertise, and passion for positive social progress and life-long civic engagement. Changemaker Central cultivates a culture that tackles social and global challenges through collaboration, innovation, and diverse approaches to problem-solving.

Leadership Programs

ASU offers numerous student leadership opportunities from Student Government (USG),Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), the Programming and Activities Board (PAB), and the Memorial Union Advisory and Activities Board (MUAB). In addition, the Memorial Union provides leadership development program and student leadership initiatives throughout the year that foster connections between students, staff, and faculty.

Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternities and sororities have been an important part of ASU’s campus culture for more than 85 years. With more than 4,000 undergraduate students participating in over 60 chapters, the ASU Greek Community plays an active role in supporting student success, developing lifelong friendships, creating meaningful philanthropic opportunities, and enhancing the ASU student experience.
