The Rainbow Convocation honors LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning, Intersex, Asexual/Aromantic, and their Allies) students by bringing together members of their communities to celebrate the accomplishments of graduates, with particular honor and recognition for the ways in which sexuality and gender have influenced their paths toward graduation. This event includes a keynote speaker, student speaker, graduate recognition and refreshments. Academic regalia (cap and gown) required.

Family and friends are welcome to attend. Doors open for guests at 4:30 p.m.
Refreshments will be served after the program
Graduates are asked to check in by 4:30 p.m. at the registration table outside of the Senita Ballroom to prepare for the formal processional beginning at 5:30 p.m.
All graduates are required to wear an official ASU cap and gown during the convocation ceremony. You may purchase your regalia at the Sun Devil Campus Bookstores
