Residential Life Leadership Team

    University Housing at Arizona State University is led by a very dynamic and energetic Senior Leadership Team. Bringing a wide variety of diverse experiences and backgrounds to the table, we are very proud of, and motivated by, our leaders. As a staff member within Residential Life, you will also be working closely with the University Housing teams in the areas of Business & Finance, Facilities, and Operations.

    Dr. Kendra Hunter

    Deputy Vice President, Educational Outreach and Student Services

    Hometown: Monument, Colorado

    Fun Fact: I love being out in nature and going exploring on outdoor adventures including overlanding, off-roading, camping, hiking, the beach and the mountains.

    Why Dr. Hunter loves working at ASU: Because of the incredibly talented Sun Devils (students, faculty, staff and colleagues) that I get to learn from and work with every day.

    Christiana Sletten

    Director of Residential Life

    Hometown: Detroit, Michigan (The Motor City and the home of Motown Music!)

    Fun fact: I love staying healthy and fit - Peloton biking, hiking, lifting weights, and being a mom of two active kids, all keep me on my toes.

    Why Christiana loves working at ASU: I love the connections that I have been able to make with students, both as an advisor and as a staff member. Their excitement and enthusiasm for the university is inspiring, as they progress towards pursuing their goals.

    Associate Director of Residential Life

    Hometown: Toronto, Canada

    Fun fact: I love checking out fun festivals in the area whether Glendale's Chocolate Affaire, Chandler's Ostrich Festival, or the many music, arts, and food festivals.

    Why Dr. Shapiro loves working at ASU: I love working at ASU because of the amazing opportunities to create change to better our students and the talented partners we get to work with in doing so. ASU has a wonderful focus on innovation that encourages creativity in students and staff alike.
