Student leadership in Residential Life

Residence Hall Association (RHA)

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) works within Residential Life and university communities to encourage awareness of the residential student perspective in leadership development, programming, regional involvement, and advocacy. Through involvement and positive engagement, residents are afforded the best possible opportunity to grow, learn, and establish connections within the residential communities. RHA operates closely with University Housing, the Undergraduate Student Government, and many other on-campus organization to achieve goals, and advocate on behalf of student needs.

Each location has a Residence Hall Association with positions that students can run for to further enhance their own leadership skills while giving back to the larger community through advocacy, programming, and leadership.

"The Maroon and Gold Chapter of NRHH has been an incredible way for me to connect with likeminded people that are passionate about seeing change through service and recognition. NRHH was one of my first leadership experiences in college that has helped me learn the kind of people that I want to surround myself with after graduating from ASU."

"NRHH Chapter of the Maroon and Gold has done an outstanding job of providing me with some of my best friends and memories from college. NRHH has helped me develop a passion for service and recognition."

Chris Headshot

"The NRHH Chapter of the Maroon and Gold has not only been an extremely beneficial way for me to get involved in campus and within residential life but has also been an essential part of the support system that I have found at ASU-Tempe. I know I can rely on other members of NRHH to be there for me in any time of struggle as well as to inspire me to be a better student leader. I know they are there to help serve the residents on our campus, as well as help me recognize all of my coworkers and make an impact in my community."
