Who can request a meeting room

  • ASU departments may request space at any time throughout the year.
  • Student organizations registered with the Student Organization Office can request space at any time during the current academic year. To accommodate all registered student organizations, each group is limited to 1 room per week.


Reservations for events and meetings in the Memorial Union and Student Pavilion can be made in several ways:

When making a reservation with Event and Meeting Services, please provide the following information:

  • Preferred date of event (and alternative dates if possible)
  • Time and duration of event
  • Expected number of persons in attendance
  • If food and/or beverage service will be ordered
  • Audio/visual and set-up needs (Please note: An appointment with a staff member may be necessary)

Your reservation will usually be processed within two full working days of your request. A confirmation will be provided when the reservation form has been verified and signed. Late requests for changes, cancellations, additional rooms or equipment submitted less than 2 full working days of the event will be assessed a late request fee. Some rooms require 2 weeks or 30 days’ notice or a penalty fee will apply.
