Graphic Design Through the Art of Screenprinting Camp
Add some flair to your backpack or t-shirts, print your own logos on a tote bag, or create your own prints to hang up at home! In this screenprinting camp, you'll practice the printing and layering processes with transparencies and stencils as you incorporate techniques of drawing, tracing, detailed cutting, composition, and found object exposure. Water-based inks in a variety of colors will be mixed for printing. Students will take home their creations, as well as their own School of Art tote bags.
The School of Art at Arizona State University offers art camps for students ages 13-18 throughout the summer. These four- and five-day camps—which are open to students with all levels of experience—reflect a wide variety of studio art practices and provide students with an art immersion experience. Each camp gives participants the opportunity to meet others with similar interests and to receive valuable one-on-one feedback from our specialized instructors. All materials are provided for in-person camps. We can’t wait to work with you!
