Guided by ASU FIDM faculty Daniel Toney and Marina Leight and by visiting industry experts in the heart of the West Coast fashion industry, you'll explore illustration, sewing, patternmaking, trend forecasting and more! The Dialectic: Philosophy Summer Camp is an intellectual community formed of high school students, philosophy PhD students, and professors. This year we will explore questions about the nature of the self, such as:

Join us for a summer of fun, creativity, and writing during the annual YAWP Summer Camp! Session A runs June 3rd-June 14th, and Session B runs from June 17th-28th. Camps will meet daily, Monday- Friday, from 9:00 am- noon. Choose from camps for grades 4-5, 6-8, or 9-12. Camps will cover cover a variety of topics including nature writing, empowering youth to write for change, and writing that perfect college essay. Included in the cost of camp is the book that the campers will use for creative inspiration.

ASU’s Robotics Camp is an innovative summer program designed for middle school and high school students interested in science and engineering. Expert instructors use component-based robot construction and programming to teach the latest engineering concepts and technologies. Students will work in teams to design, build, and program a robot. By the end of the camp, groups will test their metal in a robotics challenge.

Join us in developing realistic 3D games using the high-end game engine, Unreal Engine 5, from Epic Games. This camp adopts a hands-on approach, allowing each student to utilize a high-spec computer equipped with NVIDIA RTX. The instructor is an ASU professor with over 20 years of experience teaching computer graphics and game development. As an in-person camp, the kids receive prompt assistance and support from ASU student assistants in our gaming program within the School of Computer and Augmented Intelligence.
