Danforth Chapel is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. It also serves as an intimate space that may be reserved for weekend weddings, memorial services and small special events. Since 1948, the Danforth Chapel on ASU’s Tempe campus, has served as both a historical point of pride, as well as a quiet refuge for meditation and reflection. William H. Danforth provided the original gift to begin building the chapel and then challenged students to raise the remainder of the funds. Danforth Chapel was truly built for and by the community it serves.
