Feedback from Previous Summer Experience

Many participants commented on their experience in BSS:

• “Something new I learned while being here at ASU and attending the Barrett Summer Scholars is that there are so many kids like me that are smart, talented, and eager to learn just like me. So when I think there’s no one like me I will just remember this experience and look forward to it again.”
• “I really enjoyed all of the class discussions and participation. I liked that the instructor was open to all ideas as long as we could support our answers.”
• “I really liked Barrett Summer Scholars. It was a very fun and educational experience. I really liked spending time with new people and being able to make a lot of new friends. I also think it was pretty academically challenging, which is good. The camp was overall a very friendly and enlightening experience.”

Nobody was looked down upon for their comments and questions which made it easier to speak up and share your opinion(s).”
