What is Teach For America?

Teach For America is a national nonprofit and network of leaders working to expand access to opportunity for students in underserved communities—starting in the classroom. TFA offers two paid ways to do meaningful work with students while building experience that carries forward. Current college students can join Ignite, a virtual tutoring fellowship. College seniors, graduate students, and early-career professionals can join the corps, a full-time, paid, two-year teaching opportunity in K-12 schools across the United States.

Our Impact

Our Goal

In 2020, we set a 10-year goal for our organization's work. By 2030, twice as many children in communities where we work will reach key educational milestones, indicating they are on a path to economic mobility and co-creating a future filled with possibility.
