Inhaling dust can bring not only particulates but also a deadly fungus into our lungs that can causes Valley fever, an ailment unique to the southwestern United States. Most who become ill have mild symptoms, but for others it can be deadly. Diagnosing Valley fever can be difficult and frustrating.

Join a diverse group of intergenerational, mulitprofessional, and multicommunal individuals every Friday at the ASU Community Services Building to collect, organize and prepare donations of shoes, clothing and toiletries for Project Humanities Service Saturdays, where donations will be distributed at the Human Services Campus in downtown Phoenix.

This conversation considers mutual aid efforts nationally through a local lens, specifically the relationship with law enforcement that often conflicts with these humanitarian efforts.
