Bring the whole family for a free performance from the ASU Mariachi Group! The concert on Monday, April 25, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the ASU Music Building on the Tempe campus will showcase a semester of hard work and highlight the history of Mariachi bands.

For about three months, students, staff and faculty worked together to create a prediction model for COVID-19 severity in pediatric patients.

In this Open Lab, we will explore bias in data science from a variety of angles, including cultural, technical, and philosophical perspectives. Participants will think through various examples and come away with practical steps to mitigate bias in their work.

Learn some of the basics of data science in our hands-on mini workshops. We will show you how to import data, build models, and interpret results using multiple techniques in the Python programming language, except for the Jan. 26 mini-workshop.
