ASU observes Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Chicanx, Latinx, Hispanic individuals as well as groups who identify with and strive to create a more inclusive environment for these communities.

Prize-winning veteran poets Vincent Cooper, Hugh Martin, and Tonya Suther will also be reading. The conversation with Mr. Turner will be moderated by Rosemarie Dombrowski.

Why are we still having challenges facilitating birth, a natural process that has happened thousands of times a day since the beginning of time? In the United States, we are experiencing a gap in birthing knowledge. Birth education is a right and something that was historically passed down by generations.
