Camp Cronkite is where high schoolers from across the country come to grow their media skills—and get a taste of college! Students leave with real media skills and work to bolster (or kickstart!) their professional portfolios.
Camp Broadway® Mainstage is designed for theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. The five-day camp is open to all children, regardless of previous performing experience. The Camp Broadway team is comprised of distinguished actors, writers and designers directly from New York. Campers learn acting, scene study, improvisation, music theory, singing and dancing, while building self-esteem, teamwork skills, and creative potential. Campers will also watch the Broadway show HAIRSPRAY.
Board your airships and jettison the ballast! Join in the fight to save a dystopian realm and create beautiful and imaginative kinetic sculptures that tell your hero’s tale. In this immersive week-long camp, participants in grades 8 - 12 will be introduced to the engineering design process while they learn and use basic science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) concepts to construct their own steampunk-themed automata.
Dungeons and Dragons is not just a game - there is so much more! DnD is a tabletop RPG (role playing game) that incorporates imagination, storytelling, problem solving, and action. Campers will spend the week experiencing a mini campaign of Dungeons and Dragons. Along the way they will learn to tell stories, solve problems collaboratively and create dynamic characters. They will create maps, character development and best of all, make new friends to interact with playing this strategy game!
You've seen crime scene investigation on TV, but what is it like in the real world? Come spend a week learning forensic techniques including fingerprinting, blood pattern analysis and handwriting examination. Campers will learn the different types of information you can obtain from various pieces of evidence left behind at a crime scene. If you’re interested in forensic science, this is a camp you don’t want to miss!
During the week campers will learn about ethical hacking and penetration testing, cryptography and social engineering. All of this will be taught and tested in a secure cyber range. This is a great chance to see what all the hype is about Cyber Security and how you could make a career in this exciting field!
Join us as we learn to Communicate the Next U! High school students recognize the importance of communication in their lives but do you know how the world sees you? In this three day camp, we will be talking about the basics of communication, why it’s important, and how it can affect you and your future. Learn how to get the best you out there for the world to see. Includes social media, elevator pitch, short videos and much more.

In this exciting hands-on, day camp for high schoolers, participants will be introduced to the principles of robot design through origami -- the art of paper folding -- to prototype, ideate, and get a hands-on sense of the physics of robots.
Participants will learn: (1) how to use the biological world as a source of inspiration for designing robots, and how to translate those principles into a set of engineering design goals; (2) how to ideate, prototype, and synthesize robotic devices through folded mechanisms, and how force, torque, and motion can be tuned through these structures to make robots move better; (3) Coding a microcontroller to generate motion with an RC servo-motor; and (4) how to take real-world data from a foldable robot and use physical models to improve robot performance.
This week-long, hands-on, project-based approach will emphasize problem identification, brainstorming, problem solving, rapid prototyping, teamwork, and communication. The camp will culminate with a final build -- that students can program to move through the environment -- along with an exposition for parents.

ASU is hosting a Philosophy Summer Camp for high school students: The Dialectic. We will host a week-long series of workshops about how to engage the massive amount of disagreement around us, how to communicate effectively and respectfully, and how to talk to people that have radically different lives and experiences than you.
Run by a group of PhD students, The Dialectic is not a class, and we won't tell you what to think.
