Access ASU Leadership Institute
Access ASU Leadership Institute is a summer residential experience for rising juniors and seniors who want to grow as leaders and make a difference in their communities. Students spend time on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus building leadership and professional skills and learning how civic engagement connects to real-world careers. The Leadership Institute helps participants gain confidence, discover how to use their voices for positive change, and take meaningful steps towards high school completion, college success, and future career goals.
Our program provides an immersive residential experience that prepares students for success in college, career, and beyond, with a focus on:
- Support & Belonging: Students are supported every step of the way through mentorship, guidance, and a welcoming community that celebrates who they are and who they’re becoming. Through relationships with peers, mentors, and professionals, students build confidence, explore their interests, and gain clarity around their academic and career goals.
- Leadership with Purpose: Grounded on leadership principles, students learn to lead with integrity, service, and compassion while uplifting their communities. Students develop transferable leadership skills, such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, that prepare them for success in college, careers, and civic life.
- Impact, Growth & Fun: Through engaging activities, collaboration, and meaningful experiences, students grow as leaders, build confidence, and have fun while connecting their passions to real-world careers and pathways that allow them to make a difference.
