Aviation Programs Flight Simulator Building Tour

Tours are limited to 25 guests
The meeting point would be the Aviation Programs front desk (second floor of the SIM building). The visit includes a tour of our air traffic control tower simulator, jet engine lab, aircraft structures lab, and a few of the flight simulators. Attendees will be able to view the flight simulators and take photos, but will not be permitted to fly them.

Dance Theatre of Harlem Open Rehearsal

Open rehearsals allow the ASU community and the public a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming BEYOND performance. Bring your lunch and enjoy a rare sneak peek as ASU Gammage visiting artists and stage technicians prepare. In addition, the audience will get the chance to ask questions directly to the artists during the final minutes of the rehearsal.
In the legendary “Firebird,” the Russian folk tale about the triumph of love over evil is reimagined in a luscious Caribbean setting. John Taras’ choreography, paired with Stravinsky’s iconic score, comes to life through the inimitable Geoffrey Holder’s vibrant sets and costumes.

Dreamscape Learn (DSL) is a partnership between Dreamscape Immersive and Arizona State University, merging the most advanced experiential pedagogy with the entertainment industry's best cinematic storytelling. DSL delivers unique Immersive learning experiences that allow students to be fully-rendered in virtual worlds where they discover novel problems, gather data and develop solutions. Unlike other educational products, a narrative arc weaves through the experiences, allowing students to feel more deeply engaged and motivated to learn the fundamental skills required to be successful in their degrees and future careers.

The Impossible Notecard Challenge
ASU's Youth Entrepreneurship Team focuses on empowering innovators of all ages through engaging, hands on lessons and activities. This activity is self-guided and was created on a 3D virtual reality platform called CoSpaces. Participants only need a few index cards, scissors, and 30 minutes to complete the challenge!
The VR experience will guide participants through the challenge as they try to recreate the ""Impossible Notecard"" with various constraints.
