Meta Network for School Improvement

Meta Network for School Improvement

Access ASU has partnered with the Be A Leader Foundation to support 24 high schools in three districts in Arizona through the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Access ASU and Be A Leader have developed a comprehensive approach to increasing college access and enrollment for underserved communities. This approach is rooted in continuous improvement and a commitment to leverage data as a means of identifying students needing support and measuring the impact and effectiveness of their programs and strategies. The Meta Network is proud to partner with Mesa Public Schools, Phoenix Union, and Tolleson Union High School Districts, to serve over 13,000 seniors.

Our Network Aim is to increase well-matched postsecondary enrollment rates for Black, Latino, and Low-Income students the semester following high school graduation. By focusing on data-driven practices and a community-centered approach, Access ASU and Be A Leader are dedicated to breaking down barriers to higher education and paving the way for a more equitable future for all students.

Network Supports

Quarterly Convenings

To further our mission of increasing college access and enrollment for underserved communities, Access ASU and Be A Leader host quarterly convenings to share best practices through data. These gatherings bring together educators, administrators, community leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss insights and strategies that have proven effective in supporting students. By leveraging data, we can identify successful programs, understand challenges, and drive continuous improvement across our initiatives.
Our convenings serve as a platform for collaborative learning, where participants can exchange ideas, examine outcomes, and develop innovative approaches to enhance student support systems. Through this collective effort, we aim to build a robust network of professionals dedicated to increasing well-matched postsecondary enrollment rates for Black, Latino, and Low-Income students.
