Access ASU has partnered with the Be A Leader Foundation to support 24 high schools in three districts in Arizona through the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Access ASU and Be A Leader have developed a comprehensive approach to increasing college access and enrollment for underserved communities. This approach is rooted in continuous improvement and a commitment to leverage data as a means of identifying students needing support and measuring the impact and effectiveness of their programs and strategies. The Meta Network is proud to partner with Mesa Public Schools, Phoenix Union, and Tolleson Union High School Districts, to serve over 13,000 seniors.
Our Network Aim is to increase well-matched postsecondary enrollment rates for Black, Latino, and Low-Income students the semester following high school graduation.

ASU awarded $8.7M grant to improve college-going outcomes
Arizona State University and the Be A Leader Foundation have been awarded a grant to form a Network for School Improvement (NSI) to expand their existing school partnerships to build the K–12 pipeline and increase access to higher education for Arizona students. The $8.7 million grant will be funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Drive-in events help Valley families fill out FAFSA safely
A group of Arizona education leaders isn’t letting COVID-19 stop them from pursuing an ambitious goal: ensuring families have access to financial aid for college. A series of FAFSA drive-in events were hosted locally to help high school seniors and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
