HMDP 40th Anniversary
ASU Tempe Campus - Student Pavilion
Celebrating 40 Years of Achievement and Dreams Attained!
Join us as we honor and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hispanic Mother Daughter Program at Arizona State University.
For the last four decades, our mission has remained steadfast: to empower families and actively engage parents in the college-going journey and postsecondary success.
RSVP for our reception by November 28th, to join us in recognizing student and parent/guardian achievements, expressing gratitude to our supporters and alumni, and in honoring the lasting impact of this incredible program. We look forward to celebrating the legacy and future of the HMDP community and ASU’s commitment to both.
Our Impact
The Hispanic Mother-Daughter Program was founded in 1984 at Arizona State University to address the shortage of women and women of color in higher education. Today the program continues to serve predominantly Latino Mothers and Daughters, their success inspiring efforts to broaden support to a large and growing number of first generation college students from across the state.
Beginning in 8th grade all the way to high school graduation, HMDP also aims to assist student participants with meeting and exceeding their educational goals. Since the creation of the program, HMDP has now served over 2,357 parent-student teams.
Here are a few stories that demonstrate the impact HMDP continues to make!
