Carter Snead, Director, de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at University of Notre Dame, proposes a framework for public bioethics rooted in a vision of human identity and flourishing that supports those who are profoundly vulnerable and dependent children, the disabled, and the elderly. He addresses three complex public matters: abortion, assisted reproductive technology, and end-of-life decisions.

Matriarchs of Washington Park: The Women who perservered through racism in segregated Mesa. This exhibit is presented by Bruce Nelson, Carla Bishop (The Sidney Poitier New American Film School) and local artists.
GATHER follows the stories of Natives on the frontlines of a growing movement to reconnect with spiritual and cultural identities that were devastated by genocide.All these stories combine to show how the reclaiming and recovery of ancient food ways is a way forward for Native Americans to bring back health and vitality to their people. There will be a brief discussion after the film, too.
