Franzen will discuss his book, "Crossroads" in an online event on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022 at 6 p.m. Arizona / MST (6 p.m. PDT / 7 p.m. MDT / 8 p.m. CDT / 9 p.m. EDT). The conversation will be facilitated by ASU fiction writer Matt Bell, a professor of English and author of the cli-fi novel, “Appleseed.”

As part of ASU's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, ASU Wind Bands launches their 2022–23 season on Sept. 15 at ASU Gammage with a concert featuring composers representing Argentina, Colombia, Cuba and Mexico.
In collaboration with the Sidney Poitier New American Film School, the ASU Wind Ensemble presents an evening of music from the movies. Highlights include music from Star Wars and Whitacre’s Godzilla Eats Las Vegas.
