As part of ASU's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, ASU Wind Bands launches their 2022–23 season on Sept. 15 at ASU Gammage with a concert featuring composers representing Argentina, Colombia, Cuba and Mexico.

Joining them on stage are students from ASU DanceCONDER|dance and Grupo BombAZo, a collective of Phoenix-based musicians.

"Into the Woods," the 1988 Tony Award winner for both score and book of a musical, is a brilliantly conceived exploration of what happens after “happily ever after.” With a moving and profound score by Stephen Sondheim and a powerful, witty book by James Lapine, "Into the Woods" is a magical, imaginative journey to the darker side of fairy tales as they explore the pain of growing up, communal responsibility and the values we pass on to our children.

ASU is pleased to present Stravinsky’s rarely performed operatic masterpiece, "The Rake's Progress", an English-language opera from 1951 in three acts and an epilogue, based loosely on the eight paintings and engravings "A Rake’s Progress" (1733–1735) of William Hogarth.
