The Engineering Projects in Community Service program, known as EPICS, is a national award-winning social entrepreneurship program. Students design, build, and deploy systems to solve engineering-based problems for charities, schools, and other not-for-profit organizations. This year Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering is introducing a summer bootcamp to allow high school students to get a jump start on changing the world.
Interested in learning how the field of engineering can be a force for good in the world? Team up with fellow high school students for an exciting introduction to the world of robotics. During the camp, students will compete in the National Underwater Robotics Competition. Work on a team to build an underwater robot to conduct a simulated time travel mission to the Cretaceous era where you will conduct important research by collecting dinosaur eggs.
