Inclusive Communities for Sun Devils is an online education program that equips learners with the information and skills necessary to create a respectful and welcoming environment for everyone and engages all learners regardless of ability, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religion, or gender identity. Workshops and activities embedded throughout the course emphasize assumption awareness, active listening, and healing conversation strategies.
This course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.
This course is an online education program that will aid ASU community members in their thought processes, decisions, and interchange with others as they navigate their contributions to the University and society pertaining to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
First year students will be automatically enrolled in the program and it will show up as a “To-Do” item on MyASU.
If you are being asked to take this program as part of a student employment position at ASU, you will need to talk to your supervisor about being enrolled prior to completing the next steps.
If you log in and see an error message, that means you have not been enrolled in the course and need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request enrollment. In the email, please include your full name, ASU email, and your ASUrite ID. Your ASUrite is what you use to log into myASU, not your Student ID.
Culture@ASU promotes identity, inclusion and expression to build a strong Sun Devil Community reflective of ASU’s charter. Students lead the initiative, collaborating to build intersectional programs that celebrate cultural identities, foster a sense of belonging on campus, and help expand the cultural awareness of all Sun Devils.
All incoming undergraduate students are expected to complete the Inclusive Communities for Sun Devils course.
