Issue Awareness Brunch

In conjunction with Hunger and Homelessness Week, Changemaker Central will be hosting a brunch on Taylor Mall where we eat food, discuss how to make our environments more Trans friendly and highlight organizations that help trans people suffering from hunger and or homelessness.

Culture Monday
Nov. 15, 11 a.m- 1 p.m. | MU North Stage 
The ASU community is rich in many cultural, social and global traditions. Through Culture@ASU events and programming, students have many opportunities to engage with their peers in a globally-aware context. Culture Monday promotes identity, inclusion and expression to build a strong Sun Devil Community reflective of ASU’s charter. Stop by for info on Trans Awareness Week events and free giveaways. 

Disclosure Movie Screening

BeYouASU will be doing a live-streamed event by watching the transgender documentary, Disclosure. There will be a 15 minute check in prior to starting the movie and those that do not wish to participate in the check in, are welcome to arrive just for the movie. 

Prism Button Making

Come and make buttons and show your art skills and pride with Prism!

Discussion Night: Intersectionality

Join us for a discussion about the intersections between trans experiences, aspec identities (aromantic/asexual/agender), and other identities and cultures!

Mental Health Check-In
Nov. 18, 9 a.m. all day |
BeYouASU and their Facebook members will be posting a thread for transgender, gender non-conforming, and two-spirited people to have a mental health check-in. Cisgender people are more than welcome to provide support to trans, GNC, and two-spirited people but not check-in mental health wise. The thread will be closely monitored and available all day.

Prism Trans Awareness Week Public Information Night

As a part of ASU's Trans Awareness Week, Prism is hosting a public information night! Stop by to learn more about trans history and enjoy activities with us!

Let's Play Jeopardy!

Let's play Jeopardy! Try your hand at transgender trivia, and see how much you really know. The winning team will be awarded prizes! Presented by Qmunity. 
Free Rapid HIV-Testing

Nov. 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Thunderbird School of Global Management - 401 N 1st St, Phoenix
LGBT-Birds+, in a partnership with NGO RipplePhx, will provide 6 hours of Free Rapid HIV-Test on a fun bus. No appointment required. 

Close-Knit Japanese Movie Screening
Nov. 19, 7 p.m. | Thunderbird School of Global Business, Rm. 335
Join LGBT-Birds+ for a Japanese movie screening to celebrate Trans Awareness Week. "Close Knit" tells the story of a family with a Trans family member. Complimentary movie theater food and beverage will be served.
