ASU’s Native American Heritage Month aims to provide a platform for Indigenous students to share their culture, traditions, music, crafts, and dance. Students provide opportunities to share community values and solutions for building a stronger community.

5th Veterans in Society Conference: Resilience, Pedagogy, and Veteran Studies  We have invited Ricardo Caté to join us as our final panelist during the plenary sessions of our conference. Ricardo Caté is the only Native American cartoonist whose work is carried by a daily mainstream newspaper, Santa Fe New Mexican and Taos News. Many of his comics are included in his extraordinary book, Without Reservations: The Cartoons of Ricardo Caté.

Learn Arizona: Global and Local Culture

November 10, 3 p.m. | Hayden Library - Outdoor West Patio

We may all be Sun Devils come from different backgrounds, cultures, and histories. During this month we are celebrating Native American Heritage month and next week we celebrate International Education Week. Therefore, let us come together to learn about cultures from around the world with clothes, displays, music, dance, and much more.

Coffee and Conversation

November 1, 2 p.m. | Multicultural Communities of Excellence, Student Pavilion (Tempe)

Native American Heritage Month Celebration and Conversation is an open space to meet people, learn more about living in the United States as a student at ASU and gain helpful information on topics like community service and what it can do for you professionally, dating in the US, and other topics such as where to go on school breaks or information about knowing your rights in the US.
