ASU Hip Hop Coalition (2018 Winner) As the winner for the ASU Pitchfork Awards 2018, ASU Hip Hop Coalition is ready to open our show on a high energy note. ASU Hip Hop Coalition has been around for 22 years and strives to promote positivity through hip hop culture and dance. They aim to provide a safe learning environment for each individual and uses dance as a vehicle to serve the community.
Olivia Trentadue (vocal performer) My name is Liv Trentadue, I have been a singer my whole life, and I do not know what I would do without music. I am am an undergraduate student at the W.P. Carey School of Business, and I plan to use my degree to work somewhere in the music industry. I am very passionate about what I do, and I'm excited I get to share it with others!
25 Degree Dance Crew 25 Degree is a Jazz, K-pop dance crew at ASU. Our primary focus is showing choreography and sharing passionate performances. We make YouTube dance videos and have performance anywhere in Arizona.
Royland Robinson (rap performer) Robinson is a multifaceted individual, who has been creating hip-hop music and performing live for 4 years. He uses songwriting/music to express himself and as a coping mechanism for the pain that he suffers on a daily basis from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is currently developing a non-profit organization to bring creative arts like hip-hop to young people in low- income & Urban communities.
