Families and Guests

Your ASU Family Experience Starts with Orientation.

As a future Sun Devil Family member, you have the opportunity to attend your student’s New Student Orientation program and a Family Orientation program. We suggest attending New Student Orientation first.

Family Orientation

During Family Orientation, you will: learn ways to support your student as they transition to ASU; engage with staff and get your questions answered; connect with your student’s academic college; and discover opportunities and resources available to ASU families.

Step One: Register for Family Orientation

If your student will be starting classes in Spring 2021, consider joining us for an upcoming Family Orientation. See session details and register below:

Review the resources below to help answer some of your questions and identify some new questions before your Family Orientation program. Remember to check your email for additional details the day prior to your Family Orientation Session.

Step Three: Attend Family Orientation

Join us for your Family Orientation session using the same link you used to register for your session, which will also be emailed to you when you register. Please make sure you log in at least five minutes early to ensure your technology is working properly. If you experience any issues, review our Zoom help guide. All Family Orientation sessions are scheduled in Mountain Standard Time and will begin promptly at their scheduled time.
