Key Dates & Deadlines to Stay Informed!

To ensure you stay on track throughout the admission and onboarding processes, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of important deadlines you need to be aware of. Mark your calendars and plan ahead to make the most of your Sun Devil experience.

Regular admission date

ASU’s regular admission date is Oct 1 for spring semester Jan. 15 for fall semester. Make sure to complete your admission application by this date.

Enrollment Deposit

Submitting the enrollment deposit reserves your spot in the incoming class. We encourage students to submit their enrollment deposit to commit to ASU as soon as they feel ready. ASU enrollment deposit opens Oct. 01 for the Spring and Fall semesters. Submitting your enrollment deposit allows you to begin your orientation experience, register for courses, apply to live on campus,etc.

Housing Portal Opens

Secure a spot to live on campus! Living on campus gives you the skills to grow into the person you are becoming. Make connections. Build your community. Prep for success.

ASU’s housing portal opens in early January for students starting in fall. Housing confirmation deadline is May 15.

FAFSA priority date

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will be available beginning in the fall semester. The ASU priority deadline is Feb. 1.

New Student Orientation Experience

Through ASU’s New Student Orientation Experience, accessed online, you will prepare to take classes by completing essential next steps for enrollment.
