Movement for Violence Prevention
Sun Devil Movement for Violence Prevention
Our core mission is to unite all student organizations on all campuses, as we create a dialogue between all organizations and work together so we can, as one, take part in the movement to prevent violence. We work together with students, student organizations and Educational Outreach and Student Services to actively create a community free from violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation of any kind here at Arizona State University.
ASU observes Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) to raise awareness and educate the community about relationship violence and the impact it can have on individuals and communities. Prevention is possible, but change starts with community action. ASU community members can take action to prevent violence by getting involved and attending an event to learn about how to support survivors and prevent violence within our community! Check out our events page to learn more.
Take Action. Get Help. Get Involved.
Have you experienced sexual violence? We are here for you.
The Sun Devil Support Network (SDSN) is a peer advocate group for students who have experienced sexual violence. Advisors in SDSN trained to work with survivors of sexual assault on a variety of fronts, and can provide support and information about legal, medical, and psychological resources available.
