Novel Coronavirus

Updated deadline for COVID-19 vaccination requirement

Nov. 9, 2021

Arizona State University is compliant with President Joe Biden’s recent executive order that requires all employees of federal contractors to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. All ASU employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by Jan. 4, 2022, or have a religious or medical accommodation on file with the university.

The COVID-19 vaccination requirement includes undergraduate and graduate student employees, employees in all ASU locations and employees who work remotely. Student workers will need to upload their proof of vaccination to the employee portal, even if they have already done so in the student health portal. Please upload your record to the Employee vaccination webpage after each dose.

If you have not yet been vaccinated, ASU offers COVID-19 vaccines for students and employees, and you may find other convenient vaccine locations in the community.

If you need medical or religious accommodation, please visit the Workplace accommodations webpage. Please contact Employee Wellness Exposure Management with COVID-19-related questions.
