Day of Service

Day of Service

Giving back is a value that all Greek-lettered organizations share and that common goal inspired a fraternity and sorority community-wide day of service.

Day of Service is typically held on national Make a Difference Day in October each year. Fraternity and sorority members come together on one morning to collectively serve the ASU and surrounding communities. Students have typically completed more than 2,000 hours of combined community service on just this one morning of service. Previous service sites have included Tiger Mountain Community Garden, Mentor Kids USA, World Food Championship, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Be The Match Walk+Run, Terrain Racing Mud Run, and the Valley of the Sun United Way’s World Record to End Hunger.

Students interested in other community service opportunities throughout the year should contact Changemaker Central at changemaker.asu.edu
