Registration


What is Family Weekend?
Family Weekend is a long-standing ASU tradition held during the fall semester. Current students invite their families to join them on campus for a weekend of events to celebrate Sun Devil spirit and traditions. Family members of all ages can enjoy activities hosted by academic colleges, campus departments and Sun Devil athletics.

Who can attend?
Any ASU affiliated families — students, staff, faculty, alumni and their family members are welcome to attend.

Can young children attend?
Yes. Programming is available for family members and guests of all ages.

When is Family Weekend?
Family Weekend 2019 will take place Friday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 10.

Where can I find a map of campus?
Downtown Phoenix campus
Polytechnic campus
Tempe campus
West campus

What time should families arrive in town on Friday?
Check-in will begin in at each campus on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. Check back later this summer for more details on check-in and programming by campus.

When and where should I check in for Family Weekend?
Check in is available on Friday afternoon at each campus location and Saturday morning in Tempe. Specific times and locations will be provided during registration. 

Where should I stay for Family Wekend?
Families choose to stay in a variety of accomodations to best suit their needs. For information on travel and accomodation options near each campus location see the Visit ASU website. 

 

Key Events


Can I go to class with my student?
Most faculty members will allow guests to visit their classrooms during Family Weekend. Have your student check with his or her professor prior to your visit.

What time is Devils on Mill?
Devils on Mill will begin three hours prior to kickoff of the Saturday football game. Kickoff time has not been announced yet.

 

Football Tickets


Are football tickets included in Family Weekend registration?
No, football tickets need to be purchased separately through Sun Devil Athletics. However, once you pay for the Family Weekend registration, a discount code and website link will be included in the payment confirmation email.

Do students need to purchase tickets to the football game?
If the student would like to sit with his or her family, then he or she will need to purchase a ticket. However, students may sit in the student section for no charge, just like any other home football game.
