Will there be any in-person Family Weekend events?

No. All Family Weekend 2020 events will be virtual. While we would love to celebrate Sun Devil spirit, pride and tradition with you in person, it’s important that we keep the health and safety of our ASU families and students foremost in our plans for Family Weekend to limit the spread of COVID-19.

No, you may attend as many events as you like throughout the weekend.

What types of events are happening for Family Weekend?

Family Weekend 2020 will include a combination of live events and anytime activities, programs families can explore on their own schedule throughout Family Weekend and beyond. You can connect with your student’s College, join a spirit filled social media challenge, cheer on the Sun Devils v. Pac-12 rival USC, get to know your campus Dean, and so much more. Yes, it is very important to register as this is the only way to receive the Zoom links to participate in Family Weekend programs.

How do I know which programs I can attend?

How do I know which programs I can attend?

On the calendar page , after the event title and time there is a label that indicates the event community. Some events have been designed for families of a specific college, campus or affiliation and many are general programs listed as “All ASU Families.”

You can join a Zoom session without an account. For the best user experience, we encourage you to visit the Zoom website (https://zoom.us/signup) to set up your free account. You can download the Zoom app for your desktop or smart device use.
