Join the ASU Popular Music Program for a 3 day songwriting, production and performance intensive open to all levels of experience, instrumentation. Connect and collaborate with other young musicians for an experience that will transform your musicianship and take your skills to the next level. There will be opportunities to work in our state of the art facilities and studios, have your work heard and workshopped, perform each night, and sit in on Masterclasses from visiting industry professionals.

Summer Experience at Downtown is an interactive program that celebrates the vibrant ASU Downtown campus. Students in 9th-12th grade will explore college-readiness programming and have an opportunity to engage with successful ASU alumni and SPARKS members (current ASU students) and take part in seminars, presentations, and career and major explorations.

Sports Broadcast Boot Camp is for every high schooler who dreams of calling games, sideline reporting and telling important sports stories in front of (or behind!) a camera. Students drop into the middle of the action, covering professional teams such as the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Mercury and learning reporting techniques that jump-start careers.

Media Innovation Camp at the Cronkite School offers future journalists, game developers and any high schooler interested in media and technology the chance to experiment with cutting-edge tools and techniques. Campers get a taste of augmented and virtual reality technologies, game development, app development and more while completing a cutting-edge immersive project that they’ll show off to family and the leaders of AZCentral.com.
