The Disability Resource Center (DRC) provides academic testing accommodations for qualified students who have provided the DRC with appropriate documentation. A DRC Disability Access Consultant determines student eligibility and authorizes all accommodations prior to a student receiving services. All students receiving testing accommodations through the DRC are expected to follow the ASU Academic Integrity Policy.
The following accommodations may be recommended, as appropriate, based on documented need:
- Readers and/or Scribes
- Alternative Print Formats (e.g., Braille, Large Print, E-Text)
- Extended time
- Adaptive equipment (e.g., computer, Franklin Speller)
- Reduced distraction testing rooms
To request testing accommodations, please contact the DRC on the campus where your classes are being taught.
