Welcome to the Family Chats (General Sessions)

Welcome to ASU! For families with students starting ASU in the Fall 2026 semester, we will host several live Welcome to the Family Chats from June to August 2026. Join us for a casual conversation designed to connect you to the ASU Family community and university resources. Hosted by upper-division families, the Welcome to the Family Chat provides all incoming families (including those of Transfer students) the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and connect family-to-family in preparation for their student's first semester at ASU. Come with your coffee, latte or tea and bring your Sun Devil spirit to these casual, virtual family-to-family gatherings. You may attend as many sessions as you like as each will feature different hosts and topics based on participant interests.

• Session 1: Wednesday, June 3, 8:30–9:30 a.m. AZ (General Session)
• Session 2: Thursday, June 11, 5:30–6:30 p.m. AZ (General Session)
• Session 3: Tuesday, July 14, 5:30–6:30 p.m. AZ (Special session for Arizona and out-of-state families)
• Session 4: Wednesday, July 22, 4–5 p.m. AZ (Special session for families of transfer students)
• Session 5: Wednesday, July 29, 4–5 p.m. AZ (Special session for Tempe campus families)
• Session 6: Wednesday, July 29, 5:30–6:30 p.m. AZ (Special session for West Valley, Polytechnic, and Downtown Phoenix campus families)
• Session 7: Tuesday, August 4, 4–5 p.m. AZ (General Session)
