Join the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication as it presents Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dean Baquet, executive editor of The New York Times, with the 37th annual Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. The virtual ceremony will include an award presentation and a keynote address by Mr. Baquet.

The Cronkite School’s signature fundraising event, the Cronkite Award provides critical support to the school as it prepares the next generation of journalists and media professionals.

Past recipients of the Cronkite Award include prominent journalists such as Lester Holt, Anderson Cooper, Judy Woodruff, Gwen Ifill, Scott Pelley, Robin Roberts, Christiane Amanpour, Brian Williams, Al Michaels, Bob Woodward and Katharine Graham.
