The SolarSPELL Initiative
Do you speak Spanish? Are you ready to make a global impact? Then mark your calendars for Saturday, October 1st! The ASU-SolarSPELL offline digital library initiative is hosting a one-day Tag-a-Thon, and we need your help!
SolarSPELL is a global educational initiative that combines curated digital libraries, solar-powered, offline technology, and the training to build information literacy and internet-ready skills. We are developing a Spanish-language offline digital library, to be piloted this November in schools in Chiapas, Mexico.
With your help, students and teachers in Chiapas–who have previously lacked access to textbooks and educational resources–will be able to search, find, and use content on the SolarSPELL library to teach and learn, even in the most challenging conditions.
