DPC Multicultural Communities of Excellence (MCOE) and El Concilio
Multicultural, international, and LGBTQ+ students in particular are often subjected to stereotypes and hostile communication. How do we fight against the social and cultural hostilities that place us at the cross hairs of racist, sexist, heterosexist, and xenophobic discourses? How do we grow and learn with dignity as we navigate today’s volatile public sphere? This event will engage students in these questions and explore our own stories of place and belonging.
