Masterclass: Art From Around the World: Japan

Monday, March 8, 2021 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Facebook Live, Off campus

Sashiko art is an ancient Japanese embroidery technique that means “little stabs." We will look at different designs and applications of this beautiful textile art form. Then we will draw out some traditional designs and create our own. The result will be a drawing full of patterns inspired by Japanese Sashiko.

This virtual masterclass is made possible with support from the Abbett Family Foundation.
