Student Connection and Community
After the rain the sun surely comes … or such is our hope for this year and the inspiration for this year’s theme. After fighting through heartbreaking, demoralizing challenges, it is the belief in the light at the end of the tunnel which urges the human spirit forward. Our concert is a meditation on the endurance of hope during challenging times and the many ways that hope can manifest itself in our experience. Arizona Women's Collaborative is a gender-affirming organization guided by principles of community, cooperation, and the amplification of marginalized voices. With a culminating yearly concert centered on a relevant theme, AWC facilitates and celebrates the generation of original music and accompanying performance art in a wide variety of styles and genres. Sponsored in partnership with Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and Culture@ASU.
