Heaven Has a Wall: Religion, Spirituality and Borders

Everyone has a border story, yet American borders are more than lines on a map. In this lecture, Elizabeth Shakman Hurd draws on her new book Heaven Has a Wall to explore how U.S. borders are created, enforced, suspended, and refused—and how religion and belonging shape these politics. This free, public event is hosted by the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict at the ASU Tempe campus and available via livestream. Registration is required.
