Learn more about the 9 principles of Universal Design in the classroom, and how implementation of these principles contribute to inclusive learning environments, which supports ASU’s mission statement. Universal Design is all about designing a course/learning environment to accommodate a wider variety of needs, which may eliminate potential learning barriers or unnecessary learning obstacles. We will discuss the role of faculty perception in implementation of the principles, as well as your experience as a learner, with Universal Design in the classroom.
