"Into the Woods," the 1988 Tony Award winner for both score and book of a musical, is a brilliantly conceived exploration of what happens after “happily ever after.” With a moving and profound score by Stephen Sondheim and a powerful, witty book by James Lapine, "Into the Woods" is a magical, imaginative journey to the darker side of fairy tales as they explore the pain of growing up, communal responsibility and the values we pass on to our children.

ASU is pleased to present Stravinsky’s rarely performed operatic masterpiece, "The Rake's Progress", an English-language opera from 1951 in three acts and an epilogue, based loosely on the eight paintings and engravings "A Rake’s Progress" (1733–1735) of William Hogarth.

While wind and haboobs are a welcome change in the weather, Arizonans would be better to avoid being outside on a windy day. Inhaling dust can bring not only particulates but also a deadly fungus into our lungs that can causes Valley fever, an ailment unique to the southwestern United States. Most who become ill have mild symptoms, but for others it can be deadly. Diagnosing Valley fever can be difficult and frustrating.
