Join Access ASU and the Office of University Initiatives for the 2017 University Outreach Luncheon on Monday, March 27, 2017 in the Memorial Union, Turquoise Room. The purpose behind this event is to collaborate, celebrate and showcase all the many efforts within the university departments dedicated to innovative and culturally relevant outreach within our own ASU community as well as the communities that surround us. Ultimately, we want to emphasize and highlight all of our efforts that help to create a more socially embedded university and community.
The Outreach Luncheon will feature key note speaker, Kevin Salcido, vice president of HR and Chief HR Officer in the Office of Human Resources at Arizona State University as well as an overview of the results of the Community Embeddedness Survey. Both before and after lunch, participants will select from a variety of workshops presented by various departments within the university that feature evidence-based efforts to increase and enhance outreach and community engagement at Arizona State University.
In preparation for the Outreach Luncheon on Monday, March 27, 2017, we are asking you to reflect upon the work you have done this past year to champion the outreach and community engagement efforts at ASU. This year we are excited to hear about and celebrate your demonstrated success stories and are requesting that you submit a proposal to share within a 30-minute breakout session.
