Who may apply to CCLI?
CCLI is open to all Arizona high school students entering junior or senior year in Fall 2021. CCLI is open to any race or ethnicity.
What is the cost to participate?
The program is free to accepted students. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from campus for check-in and check-out.
What is the minimum GPA required to attend?
There is a minimum requirement of 2.0 or higher to apply to CCLI.
What is included in the program?
Participants will receive three meals each day, lodging in an ASU residence hall, transportation for off-campus field trips during the program and recreational activities.
What do I need to bring?
Students who are accepted to the program will receive a detailed list of items to bring for the week, including clothes, toiletries and bedding.
Do I have to stay on campus during the program? Why can’t I stay at home if I live nearby?
Participants are required to stay on campus for the entire week and may not leave for any reason, including previously scheduled appointments. Part of the CCLI experience is living in one of the residence halls with your fellow delegates. This allows students to have a more complete experience and ensures they are on time and present for all activities.
How are students housed?
Male and female students will live on opposite sides of the same floor of the residence hall. Staff will reside between them and provide supervision. Additionally, 24-hour campus security and front desk services are provided.
I have dietary restrictions, will there be accommodations during the program?
Yes, ASU campus dining is able to accommodate dietary needs. If you have specific dietary needs please contact the CCLI office within the first week of acceptance to make the necessary arrangements.
When will I be notified if I’ve been accepted?
All applicants will be notified of their application status by April 9th.
